I discovered my passion for art in Kindergarten. My classmates were amazed as we were assigned to draw shapes and I added shading and backgrounds to my pictures . As a 1st grader, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to study art and graphic design.
I use many different mediums, such as, Prismacolors, graphite, pencils, acrylics, and pastels. A mouse and a pen display graphics tablet is also tools in my disposal. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
. While browsing through encyclopedias, I discovered the masterpieces of Salvador Dali'. The Persistence of Memory was breathtaking. I was always tantalized and disturbed by this piece. I could not describe this feeling, but I always want to share this feeling through my art.
